As part of the Federal Government Centre of Excellence, the Marketing & Accounts Specialist plays a key role in executing market-facing initiatives that enhance brand relevance, strengthen client engagement, and support business growth.

 

This role offers hands-on experience across integrated marketing campaigns, account-based marketing, event execution, and data management. While execution-focused, it provides strong exposure to account strategy, Partner priorities, and enterprise initiatives.

What you will do

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, Federal Government Platinum Account, this role will:

  • Collaborate with National Marketing & Communications and Ontario & Atlantic Marketing & Sales Enablement teams to support and activate campaigns aligned to Federal Government account priorities.
  • Support the development of key account relationships through coordinated meetings, communications, events, and targeted outreach.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including industry groups, community organizations, and alliance partners as needed.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing activities and investments to generate insights that assess performance, demonstrate ROI, and inform future marketing decisions.
  • Plan and deliver account-based events and sponsorships, including logistics management, vendor coordination, contract administration, and post-event reporting.
  • Maintain and organize account intelligence, including services, capabilities, and client priorities.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned to client needs and account strategy.
  • Manage the Contracts Database, including collecting inputs from Partners/Senior Managers, ensuring data accuracy, and fulfilling quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring strong execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide direct support to the Federal Government Leader and Senior Account Manager on priority initiatives and Platinum Account activities.

What you bring to the role

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in marketing coordination, event execution, and/or database management- ideally within a national or global organization
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing programs across digital, content, and events
  • Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms, including list management, campaign coordination, and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven project management capabilities with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing insights and recommendations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Curious and committed to continuous learning and improvement
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs, this requirement is to ensure any candidate can assist with moving tables and office furniture for event setup

 

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $63,000 to $77,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
