KPMG’s Office of the Partner (OTP) supports our partnership through the lifecycle of their careers – from entry into partnership, through to retirement preparation. Our team includes partnership accounting, partner matters (onboarding, partnership policies, benefits and agreements, offboarding), leadership development, partnership tax, and partner personal and corporate tax services.

 

We are seeking a technically strong and analytically curious Manager, Analytics & Compensation to support the firm’s Partner Compensation program, firmwide analytical models, and executive reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-intensive, high-trust environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is motivated by continuous learning and innovation in analytics and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.

 

Working closely with senior leaders, this role delivers high-impact insights that inform Management Committee and Board-level decisions.


What you will do

Analytics & Compensation Program

  • Perform complex financial analysis on large datasets, delivering accurate results under tight deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models and implement advanced Excel macros (VBA) to optimize workflows
  • Automate data transformation and validation with Power Query to improve efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability of analytical processes
  • Work with highly sensitive and confidential data, exercising strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail

Reporting, Insights & Data Visualization

  • Develop executive-ready dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that support senior leadership and governance discussions
  • Apply strong data storytelling and visualization best practices to support decision-making
  • Explore opportunities to enhance reporting through advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities within established governance frameworks

Firmwide Processes & Models

  • Provide advanced analytical support for firmwide strategic initiatives and Business Planning
  • Perform scenario analysis and modeling to support short- and long-term decision-making
  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across analytical models and processes

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial reporting, and data visualization
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • Expert technical proficiency in:
    • Excel (advanced modeling and large datasets)
    • Excel VBA (automation and controls)
    • Power Query (data transformation and pipelines)
    • Power BI (data modeling, dashboards, ability to write DAX measures)
    • Tableau (executive-level visualization)
  • Strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated curiosity for data, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled tools
  • Desire to continuously learn, innovate, and improve analytical approaches
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders
  • High level of integrity and comfort working with sensitive, confidential information
  • Professional accounting or finance designation is preferred (CPA, MBA)
  • Experience in SQL would be an asset, but not required

 

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
