Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer Society is currently accepting applications for the school Principal at our Koinonia@Home School. The applicant must demonstrate experience with home education and distance learning, as well as be in possession of an LQS certification. The school principal will work under the authority of the Executive Principal.
Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer is an Alberta accredited school authority, with three schools: Koinonia@Home, providing home education and distance learning programs, Emmaus Learning Community, a designated special education private school, and Red Deer Campus, a campus-based K-12 school. Koinonia Christian Schools is committed to upholding a Biblical standard of spiritual and academic excellence.
All candidates for any position at Koinonia Christian Schools - Red Deer must be in agreement with our Statement of Faith. Candidates must also provide a clean criminal record and child welfare information system check.

- Ability to make Biblical values integral to their relationships with students and integrate them into all subject matter
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and team members in a professional online learning community
- Able to design effective strategies to meet students' diverse learning needs
- All leadership roles are based out of our Red Deer Campus
- Bachelor of Education, preference given to those with a Masters degree
- Leadership Quality Standards Certificate
- Alberta Interim or Permanent Teaching Certificate or Letter of Authority
- Adherence to the Koinonia Christian Education Society Statement of Faith, without reservation
- Demonstrated experience with Home Education and Distance Education
