The Canada Games are the largest multi-sport event in the country, bringing together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of Canada’s young athletes. The 2027 edition will take place in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027.

Your Role
Ready to make history? As Coordinator, Video Capture and Broadcasting, you will ensure that every highlight of the 2027 Canada Games is broadcast smoothly and with impact. You will coordinate on-site teams, production control, and streaming platforms to deliver an immersive experience for fans. You will plan, supervise, and optimize live feeds and advertising content, while driving innovation in broadcast methods and ensuring flawless technical delivery at every venue.
Reporting to the Director, Video production and Broadcasting , your talent and energy will help you:
- Set up and manage the broadcast schedules for all sports events and advertising products.
- Conduct technical site visits to ensure broadcast readiness and quality.
- Work closely with service providers and monitor all deadlines to ensure nothing is missed.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our live-streaming platform.
- Facilitate smooth communication between on-site teams, central control, and streaming operations.
- Support the overall broadcast and live-streaming plan throughout the Games.
- Manage content uploads, creation, and programming of live-streamed events.
- Oversee on-site broadcasts to ensure quality and proper signal flow.
- Organize and maintain the website infrastructure to ensure streams are accessible by day, sport, and schedule.
- Coordinate feeds with broadcast partners and ensure real-time integration.
- Update daily broadcast schedules and create new events quickly as needed.
- Participate in internal and external communications related to the project when required.
- Tackle unexpected challenges with creativity, resourcefulness, and a solutions-driven mindset.
Want to be part of our team? Here’s what it takes:
- College diploma in Television Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coordination within television production, audiovisual production, live broadcasting, or digital content management.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and project management software.
- Experience planning and supervising multi-camera shoots.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and intermediate level of English (spoken and written).
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
