Position Summary
Interior Health has an exciting relief ¬¬full-time opportunity now available for a Team Leader, Mental Health Adult Community Support Services (ACSS) at the Vernon Health Centre in beautiful Vernon, B.C. This relief position is until October 9, 2027 or return of the incumbent.

What Will You Work On?

As a Team Leader within Community Mental Health, the incumbent holds the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations and clinical supervision of staff within specific programs. This role entails providing program support, fostering relationships with community partners, and offering mentorship and guidance to clinical personnel within the program.

The Team Leader assumes a pivotal role in providing line leadership, supervision, and clinical support, while also addressing service delivery challenges within multidisciplinary Mental Health & Substance Use teams. Additionally, direct client care is administered as necessary to ensure optimal service provision.

Furthermore, the Team Leader is dedicated to delivering high-quality, client-centered programs across various community service settings, while establishing effective liaisons with local agencies and service providers. In close collaboration with the Program Manager, the Team Leader contributes to the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of clinical practices to uphold superior client care outcomes.

Scheduling Information:

Shift times are from 08:00 to 16:00 hours. Days of work are Monday to Friday.

Qualfications
Education, Training, and Experience:

• A Master’s Degree (from an accredited educational institution) in a social or behavioral science field relevant to the position.
• Four years recent related experience including experience in individual, family and group modalities of practice in the clinical specialty of the assigned area.
• One year recent experience in a leadership capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid BC driver’s license (Class 5).
