Rehabilitation Assistant | Long-term Care

Position Summary
We have a relief full-time Rehabilitation Assistant opening supporting Short Stay clients at the Gateby Care Centre in Vernon, B.C. This temporary position is expected to end in November 2025. This position works Monday to Friday from 07:00-15:00.

About the position:

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Qualfications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid Class 5 Vehicle License if applicable.
