Position Summary
We are hiring for Casual Rehabilitation Assistants for our Community health team in Salmon Arm. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department.
Days of Work: days as needed
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 - 16:00

About the role:
Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Qualfications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current valid B.C. Driver’s License required
