Position Summary
We are hiring for a 0.8fte project (temporary) Rehabilitation Assistant position at the Penticton Regional Hospital. This is s temporary opportunity that will end on March 8, 2026. This position works Monday to Thursday (except Stat holidays) from 07:45 to 15:45. About the position:
Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) serves 90,000 residents across the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valley, functioning as a regional facility and secondary referral center. With 158 acute care beds, a 10 bed ICU and 102 extended care beds on site; we offer emergency, trauma, specialty, surgical, and outpatient services, alongside advanced diagnostic capabilities.
Qualfications
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 Vehicle License if applicable.
