We are hiring a permanent, part-time (0.67 FTE) Physiotherapist at the Kamloops North Shore Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC).
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 08:00 to 13:30
What we offer:

About this position:
The Kamloops North Shore UPCC is a modern, team-based primary care clinic located in Northills Mall on Tranquille Road in Kamloops. The centre provides same-day urgent and primary care services for patients with non-emergency health concerns and serves residents of the North Shore and surrounding communities. The clinic operates seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., including statutory holidays, creating a dynamic and fast-paced ambulatory care environment.
In this role, the UPCC offers a Physiotherapist opportunity to practice as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating closely with family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, and mental health and substance use clinicians. Physiotherapists contribute to the assessment, treatment, and management of patients presenting with acute musculoskeletal conditions and functional concerns. You’ll have an important role in delivering timely assessments, promoting functional recovery, educating patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation, and supporting appropriate care pathways within the primary care setting. The collaborative model allows Physiotherapists to work to full scope while contributing to improved patient access and reduced pressure on emergency services.
About this location:
Kamloops offers an exceptional blend of career opportunity and lifestyle, with over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually, a welcoming community atmosphere, and easy access to outdoor recreation year-round. Nestled in the Thompson Valley, residents enjoy hiking, mountain biking, golf, skiing, paddling, and fishing, all within minutes of the city. The community features a lower cost of living compared to many larger BC centres, while still providing excellent amenities, shopping, dining, arts, and cultural events. Home to Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops has a vibrant and growing population that attracts young professionals, families, and retirees alike. With its stunning natural landscapes, four-season climate, and strong sense of community, Kamloops offers an outstanding quality of life and an ideal balance between work and leisure. Many healthcare professionals are drawn to the region for the opportunity to build a rewarding career while enjoying an active, outdoor-oriented lifestyle.
About us:
We are committed to achieving a culturally diverse and inclusive workforce that is representative of the communities we serve, and where you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work. Well-being and work-life balance are promoted within the team, and our commitment to environmental sustainability supports our primary goal of increasing the health and well-being of everybody in our region.
