Join the Williams Lake Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) as a key member of our interdisciplinary team. You'll lead the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services, helping clients recover mobility, reduce pain, and return to meaningful activity - all in a welcoming, community-focused setting.

What You’ll Do:
Comprehensive Assessment & Clinical Expertise
• Conduct advanced orthopedic assessments of physical status, functional abilities, and client goals using evidence-based methods and tools.
• Administer and interpret standardized tests, perform physical exams, and monitor progress over time to inform clinical decisions.
• Create individualized treatment goals and care plans focused on restoring independence and optimizing physical performance.
Personalized Treatment & Client Education
• Design and implement tailored physiotherapy interventions that align with best-practice orthopedic protocols.
• Empower clients and caregivers through education on self-management, injury prevention, and health promotion.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate community services and ensure continuity of care beyond the clinic.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, and Indigenous patient navigators.
• Participate in care planning, team huddles, and case conferences to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Serve as a physiotherapy resource and advocate within the team.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain clear and compliant documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes using electronic health systems.
• Collect and report service data, workload statistics, and clinical indicators as needed.
Professional Development
• Maintain and expand clinical knowledge through ongoing learning, reflective practice, and collaboration with leaders and peers.

• Monday to Friday - 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

About the Williams Lake UPCC:
The Williams Lake Urgent and Primary Care Centre provides same-day, team-based care for patients with non-life-threatening health concerns such as minor injuries, infections, or flare-ups of chronic conditions. The UPCC supports people who may not have access to a regular family doctor or need care within 12-24 hours. You’ll be part of a diverse team of physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, Indigenous patient navigators, and support staff - all focused on timely, compassionate, and holistic care.

Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved program of Physical Therapy
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated post graduate education in orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy (minimum Level III (Part A or B an asset), or an equivalent education).
• Minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. With a minimum of one (1) year experience in a direct access facility diagnosing acute/subacute musculoskeletal injuries.
