Position Summary
We have a permanent part-time 0.8fte Primary Care Physiotherapist opening at the Salmon Arm Health Centre in Salmon Arm, B.C. This position works Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.

About the position:
The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession and clinic; and participates in program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.

Qualfications
Graduation from an approved program of Physical Therapy
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physical Therapy.
Demonstrated post graduate education in orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy (minimum Level III (Part A or B an asset), or an equivalent education).
Minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. With a minimum of one (1) year experience in a direct access facility diagnosing acute/subacute musculoskeletal injuries.
