Position Summary
We are hiring a permanent, part-time (0.39 FTE) Physiotherapist for the Nelson Fairview Gardens.
Days of work: Monday, Thursday; plus casual work available within the Nelson area
Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

About this position:
Nelson Fairview Gardens is a 75-bed long-term care home located on the First Nation traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Ktunaxa and syilx in Nelson. The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

Full licensure as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid B.C. Driver’s license where required.
