Position Summary
Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH), locate in Nelson, B.C., has an immediate permanent, full time opening available in the beautiful Kootenay Boundary region.

Effective April 2024 hourly rates of pay $42.56 to $52.95. Recognition of previous experience in determining starting salary.

KLH serves as a vital healthcare resource for the residents of the Kootenay Lake region in offering a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, surgery, maternity services, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and mental health support. In this position the Physiotherapist will primarily work with inpatient acute care clients, including general medical, ICU, Acute Orthopedics and Emergency Department patients and Outpatient Clinic as required. Majority of clients seen will be elderly and adult assisting them to reach their desired functional status. The Physiotherapist helps in providing treatment programs which allow clients to be safe and improve their quality of life. The Physiotherapist acts as a physiotherapy resource for other members of the health care team. The Physiotherapist participates in approved physiotherapy and interdisciplinary research and special projects in collaboration with designated personnel/team and other health care professionals.

This position is eligible for the B.C. Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
