Position Summary
Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has an immediate permanent full-time Physiotherapist opening.
The physiotherapist in this position works in acute care at KGH with a focus on critical and surgical care but may be floated to other acute areas depending on operational need. This position involves working one in every 5 weekends, covering multiple acute units. Shift times will be 08:00 to 16:30, 08:30 to 16:30, 07:30 to 15:30.

About the position:
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. This position will focus on in-patient rehabilitation.
KGH is a tertiary referral hospital and offers high-level, specialty medical care including 24-hour emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services. Specialty services include adult and adolescent psychiatry, outpatient nutrition, patient care quality officers, and cardiac surgery.

• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required
