Position Summary
We are hiring for a relief full-time Physiotherapist for the Kelowna General Hospital. This is a relief/temporary opportunity expected to run until the return of the current incumbent. This position typically works Monday to Friday and participates in weekend coverage of multiple units which requires working one in every five weekends.

Shift times/Hours of work: 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.

Qualfications
Full licensee as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
