Position Overview:
The Pharmacy team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital is seeking a casual Pharmacy Assistant to join our supportive and cohesive team. If you are a Pharmacy Assistant looking to contribute to the operations of a dynamic pharmacy department, we would love to hear from you.

What will you work on?
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work under the close supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician, assisting with various aspects of pharmacy department operations. Responsibilities include packaging and distribution of unit dose medications, inventory control, statistical reporting activities, and other related clerical functions. Work will consist of on-call shifts and/or blocks of day shifts to cover sick time and/or scheduled leaves.

Qualfications
• Completion of Grade 12
• Graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant Course, plus one year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
