Castlegar Primary Care has an immediate permanent, full time Occupational Therapist opening.

Castlegar Primary Care is a modern healthcare facility renowned for its comprehensive services and patient-centered approach. Situated in a serene environment, the centre a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals and a wide range of medical specialties covering primary care, chronic disease management, mental health support, and preventive health services. In addition, this position supports multiple clinics in Trail and area but is physically located in Castlegar - one day a week confirmed in Trail.

Occupational Therapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to clients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our medical-based, primary care team, an Occupational Therapist makes a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Qualfications
• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
