Position Summary
Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent full-time Accounting Assistant to join their team in Kelowna, B.C.!

This position works rotating days 08:00 to 16:00

Days off: Sun, Sat, STAT

What Will You Work On?
The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for preparing: complex reconciliation of various general ledger accounts; period-end/year-end working papers and supporting schedules for completion of financial statements; and a variety of journal entries. Performs various banking activities and cash forecasting duties; and prepares a variety of reports and remittances.

• Proof of Completion of 2 years of the CMA or CGA or CPA Program;
• A 5-minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). Click here for testing details.
• Your Resume indicating four years’ recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• Certificates/Diplomas/Transcripts must be from accredited Schools/Colleges/Universities.
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
