Position Summary
Social Work is an occupation that works in any number of locations and/or worksites within the health authority. This job posting is for advertising purposes and encompasses all Registered Social Worker career opportunities throughout the Southern Interior of B.C. Social Workers perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, and treatment coordination for clients and their families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide psychosocial care, counseling, system navigation, and advocacy, while connecting clients to specialized resources and supporting their self-management. Your role focuses on improving the health and social well-being of the identified population.

Qualfications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university
- Two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training and experience
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
- Current valid BC driver’s license.
