Your mandate
Work together to provide spaces for sharing, support, training, and mentorship to First Nations planning teams at every stage of their initiatives.
You will specifically: collaborate in the development and facilitation of activities for the Regional Circle on Indigenous Planning, co-create customized training and informational content, promote Indigenous planning to diverse audiences, support First Nations planning teams, and help showcase First Nations planning initiatives in Quebec and Labrador.

Main responsibilities

Identify the key characteristics of the project through an analysis of the needs and interests of First Nations, focusing on community priorities, anticipating risks, and leveraging opportunities

Carry out the project and ensure the progress of activities and the development of deliverables, while maintaining follow-up with partners (e.g., meetings, events, etc.)

A combination of experience and/or training in one or more of the following fields: Indigenous, community, strategic, or land-use planning; land management and urban planning; Indigenous governance; Indigenous management; community or organizational development; geography, sociology, education, communications and community mobilization, First Nations cultures and languages
