Project Coordinator

A self performing master plan community builder is looking for two project coordinators to join their existing project management team!

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This community builder has established themselves over the last 40 years with their landmark community projects across the GTA. Through their value on social responsibility, they focus on building for the city and the people in the community. They have also committed to building community and affordable housing projects.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will be working with the existing project management teams on midrise to high rise projects. With a strong pipeline of ~30 projects at different stages, there is opportunity for the project coordinator to develop their career, project experience, and progress with the company long term. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience on high rise project.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will be supporting the project management team on a high rise project in Mississauga. You will be responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly through to completion. This role is a part of a hybrid work model. You will be based from site (Mississauga), Office (Downtown Toronto), and home.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of mid rise or high rise construction experience with a developer-builder or general contractor
• Construction Education is an asset (Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline)
• Knowledge of cost control, scheduling, quality control
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Experience using construction software

COMPENSATION

• Hybrid work model.
• Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 experience dependent.
