Our client is a boutique Insurance brokerage that works with referrals only, no cold calling, no unsolicited calls, and where the partner works directly with all the team members and does not hide in the office. With over 35 years in the industry, they truly value building long term relationships with all their clients providing competent and personalized service.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Personal Insurance Broker will be working directly with the Personal Lines Manager, managing a book of business and collaborating with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Successfully sign new clients through referrals
• Manage a book of business assigned in Personal Lines
• Find best coverage and premiums for clients
• Complete renewal reviews
• Respond to clients through email or phone

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 1 insurance license in Alberta
• Minimum 2 years' experience in brokerage
• Well versed knowledge in Personal Lines products and markets
• Familiarity with Broker Management System

COMPENSATION

• $50,000 - $60,000 base salary depending on years of experience + commissions on new business + bonus
• Access to company-paid education and training courses
• Paid vacation, health benefits
• No weekends
