Financial Analyst / Senior Analyst

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an established and reputable real estate developer based out of Vancouver with commercial, residential (market and rental) and mixed-use construction projects. Currently, they are looking to add an experienced financial analyst to their team!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Director of finance, the financial analyst/senior financial analyst will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Conduct complex financial analyses, such as scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare key materials for capital raises, including financing requests and investment documents.
• Gather inputs and assumptions for development proforma from different departments.
• Perform market research and assist with updating and maintaining development budgets, including variance analysis.
• Create and maintain multi-year cash forecasts and return metrics for ongoing development projects.
• Work on additional special projects and ad hoc tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience working as a financial analyst.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Pursuing or designated CPA/CFA

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $90,000 to $120,000
• 3 weeks vacation
• Extended health and dental
• Discretionary bonus
