Estimator (Commercial Construction)

A 2nd generation, ICI general contractor is looking for a mid to senior level Estimator to join their team!

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This general contractor focuses on base build and TI projects with values up to $15-$20M. The majority of work is on the tenant improvement side however the new build side has been growing over the last 5 years. They pride themselves on the services that they provide to their clients. It is important to them to consider how they can better as a company and within the industry.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will be the initial face of the company to various clients. You will be working with the Sales and Pre-Construction Manager along with your estimating team. You will be assisting with Pre-Construction and Construction Management budgets. The ideal candidate has experience wither tendering and construction management and has strong trade relationships.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will be managing estimates encompassing all scopes on jobs ranging up to $10M. The majority of work will be between construction management / lump sum / fixed tenders. You will be a point of contact for the first 6 months - 1 year of a project and will be responsible for trade calling and pre-construction.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years estimating experience for construction management / lump sum / fixed tenders.
• Estimating across all scopes
• Estimating experience on commercial ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional) and TI (tenant improvement) projects. (schools, daycares, hospitals, churches etc).
• Established trade network.
• Comfortable being the point of contact and communicating with clients.

COMPENSATION

• Salary: up to $120,000.
• Profit sharing / performance-based bonus.
• Health benefits.
• Vacation + office closures between Christmas and New Years!
