Description
A general contractor with a vast project portfolio in BC and ON is looking for a Warranty / Finishing / Customer Care Technician to join their existing team and support multi-family projects through finishing and warranty processes.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
With 40+ years of experience developing and building residential, commercial, industrial, government and healthcare projects to name a few. They pride themselves in relationship building and have been successful with long term and repeat clients.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will be supporting the existing customer care team. The majority of your work will be on multi-family projects supporting the construction team in pushing projects through to completion and taking care of warranty items. This role provides security and the opportunity to have a consistent project pipeline, with up ~15 projects ongoing at different stages at any given time, plus a strong pipeline of future projects. The ideal candidate comes from a deficiency or finishing background.
ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role, you will be working directly with the existing Customer Care team, Property Managers, Construction teams, and repeat trades. You will be responsible for completing finishing and deficiency, and units are left finished and ready for homeowners. This position is site based and, on the tools, generally on one project at a time.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working as a deficiency / maintenance / warranty / finishing technician.
- Experience using Procore or other warranty / customer care / construction software.
- Class 5 Drivers License.
- Comfortable travelling to projects between North Vancouver and Hope (one at a time).
COMPENSATION
- Salary: up to $110,000 / year.
- Company Vehicle.
- Tools provided.
- Extended benefits.
- 3 weeks vacation.
