Guaranteeing around-the-clock services, our client ensures their customers are fully taken care of, taking any corporate matters from start to finish. They also endeavor to maintain strong ties with their communities, supporting initiatives to give back to those that are in need.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
On a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home, you’ll be able maintain a healthy lifestyle in and outside of the office! You’ll be assisting 4 to 5 lawyers in the Corporate team who are ready to listen to your innovative ideas and push your career to the next level.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting directly to a Partner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing corporate searches
  • Updating minute books and ensuring accurate records
  • Handling corporate transactions (including incorporations, amalgamations, acquisitions, and reorganizations)
  • Preparing necessary reports
  • Data entry
  • Liaising with 3rd parties including accountants and law firms
  • Handling client correspondence

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk
  • A Law Clerk Diploma
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency with OnCorp and Docusign are a major asset

COMPENSATION

  • $60,000 - $80,000
  • 3 - 4 weeks vacation (depending on experience)
