Commercial Litigation Associate

Impact Recruitment has the pleasure of working once again with this national, full-service law firm located in downtown Vancouver. With a strong history of representing clients in innumerable complex legal disputes throughout the country, they are now looking for an experienced litigation lawyer to join their very busy specialty litigation group.

Compensation

• $118,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• The incumbent lawyer will be stepping into a busy practice and will need to be capable of hitting the ground running and take on a substantial file load. While the work will consist of a range of file types, including general insurance, construction, and regulatory disputes, a large emphasis will be on product liability matters. Solid experience with trial exposure is expected as well.

Qualifications

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 2+ years of post call experience, with an emphasis on product liability considered a strong asset
• Comfortable with an annual 1750 billable target
