Our client in Hamilton, ON is actively expanding their operations and are seeking a seasoned commercial insurance sales leader to develop, train, and lead a team of producers to success. This is an exciting time to join a well-established brokerage in a high-impact role as a leader!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized coaching and mentorship to Commercial Producers, focusing on enhancing technical knowledge, sales effectiveness, and professional development
  • Lead training sessions to reinforce the organization’s sales methodology and ensure consistent adoption across the sales team
  • Partner with internal departments such as marketing, claims, employee benefits, and risk management to promote cross-selling opportunities and integrated client solutions
  • Serve as a communication bridge between sales and brokering teams to ensure alignment on strategies, goals, and client needs
  • Track and evaluate sales performance to identify development needs, implement targeted training initiatives, and support continuous improvement
  • Proactively source and develop new B2B client relationships through multiple channels, driving sales growth and achieving business objectives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ of experience in Commercial Insurance Sales
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams in a sales capacity
  • Technical knowledge of a broad range of commercial risks is essential
  • RIBO license required (CIP, CAIB, CRM Designations are assets)
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills are essential
  • Strong organization and collaboration skills
  • Must be able to commit to traveling locally for business and work in an onsite capacity.
