Commercial Account Manager

Our client is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join their collaborative team and support an established book of commercial business. This is a relationship-focused role offering variety, autonomy, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established commercial book of business
• Handle new business, endorsements, renewals, and annual risk reviews
• Assist with remarketing and coverage solutions
• Liaise with clients, producers, underwriters, and insurance carriers
• Assist with claims and resolve client service needs
• Maintain accurate account information using PowerBroker and Applied EPIC
• Identify and support new business opportunities

Requirements

• 2+ years of Commercial Insurance and/or Underwriting experience
• RIBO license preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Strong understanding of commercial risks
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Confident communication and client service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Local knowledge of Owen Sound and surrounding businesses is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

• $48,537-$75,000, based on experience
• Commission on new business and renewals
