NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: Scheduling Coordinator

West Perth Village (Ritz Lutheran Villa)

Temporary Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Quality Lead, the scheduling coordinator will be responsible for preparing and monitoring of staffing schedules for West Perth Village’s staff of all departments. The scheduling coordinator will have regular communication with staff and the leadership team.

REPORTS TO: Quality Lead

DATE REQUIRED: Approximately October 2026-December 2027

SALARY: $26.09 - $31.02 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

- Completion of High School Diploma

- Completion of a Community College Business/Administrative Assistant/Human Resources Program, or equivalent experience an asset

Experience:

- Previous experience in scheduling staff an asset

- Previous experience in a long-term care setting an asset

- Previous experience with computerized scheduling software an asset

Abilities:

- Excellent working knowledge of Collective Agreements

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required

- Strong ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail and manage constantly changing/competing priorities

- Ability to work in a fast paced, often stressful, environment with constant interruptions

- Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement

- Ability to establish good working relationships and maintain flexibility to meet the needs of multiple managers and departments
