POSITION: Student Outreach Assistant

Mitchell & Area Community Outreach

Temporary Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Student Outreach Assistant will work closely with Coordinators in the Outreach program. The Assistant will aid in planning, developing, implementing and/or evaluating various aspects of the Outreach program in order to meet the needs of seniors and disabled in West Perth.

REPORTS TO: Manager of Outreach Services

DATE REQUIRED: June 1, 2026

SALARY: $21.62 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

- Enrolment at a post-secondary institution

- First Aid and CPR training an asset

Experience:

- Experience with seniors an asset.

Abilities:

- Excellent organizational, computer, interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment

-Ability to establish positive working relationships and be able to converse with managers across various departments

- Ability to work within a partnership team environment and independently

- Valid driver’s license, insurance and use of a reliable vehicle to access community programs
