Description
We invite applications for the position of a 1.0 FTE Temporary Full-Time Operations Clerk commencing immediately until February 20, 2026 or until the return of the regular employee. This position works thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am - 4:30pm at the Catholic Education Centre in Dublin, Ontario. The hourly rate of pay is $26.22 plus 4% vacation pay.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries or forward to appropriate person
- Prepare purchase orders, correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, applications and other documents
- Process purchase orders
- Perform data entry tasks and database maintenance
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
- Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record minutes
- Assist with administrative procedures such as contracts administration and work schedules
- Organize and maintain Facilities Services and Health and Safety records and documentation
- Communicate with employees and stakeholders regarding general facilities services and/or health and safety inquiries.
- A minimum of a two (2) year Community College Diploma in Office Administration, Business or related field is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience is required, preferable in an educational environment and/or public sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, GDrive, Gmail) and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using Navision (portal) and eBase modules is an asset
- Strong time-management, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and as an effective team member
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to address inquiries from various individuals
- Ability to maintain tact, discretion and strict confidentiality.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
