JOB SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible of machining all gates from the casting.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • When casting is received from pre-inspection, visual check if all sell material has been removed, validates router.
  • Uses conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.
  • Uses required fixturing for the specific castings and inspects fixtures for damage and compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
  • Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalent machining training

EXPERIENCE

3 to 6 months on the-job training required for acceptable proficiency.
