Job Description: The Team Manager is accountable for all aspects of daily operations of the neighbourhood and for ensuring resident directed care is provided. The incumbent is responsible to ensure the neighbourhood supports full and abundant life for residents through creation of a human habitat and promoting healthy relationships for members. The incumbent guides and coaches’ staff to uphold the mission of Sherbrooke, Principles of Care, Organizational Principles and Principles of the Eden AlternativeTM. The incumbent is a member of the management team and as such participates in the overall management of the facility.

Education

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree in a Regulated Healthcare Profession

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
  • Facilitation, consultation, listening and other relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge in employee development and performance management process
  • Knowledge in budgetary process
