Job Description: Finance Business Operations System Support Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analytics portfolio. The Specialist is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of provincial standards and technical functions utilized for internal and external business partners. The Specialist is responsible for development and facilitation of specialized services to the Strategic Planning team including Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting, Finance Business Partnerships and Financial Planning, Budget and Analytics portfolios. Working independently, this position is responsible to administer systems, processes and data used within the SHA (and other partner organizations) as it relates to the Finance Business Intelligence portfolio. The Specialist plays a key role in supporting SHA’s data governance framework and engages with key stakeholders within and external to the SHA.

Experience

  • Education or Experience in Information Technology or Computer Sciences an asset
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting role

  • Bachelor of Finance (BF)
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Accounting designation (CA, CPA)
  • Finance diploma
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
