Job Description: The Specialist will provide provincial expertise to the design and development of physician contracts and compensation policy and standard work to the Saskatchewan Health Authority and with stakeholders within the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine, the Ministries of Health and Education and Saskatchewan Medical Association. Reporting to the Manager, Practitioner Staff Affairs - Provincial Contracts, the Specialist will provide expert research advice in support of recommendations and in negotiation of provincial physician contracts, compensation, service agreements, policies and standard work.

Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in health care administration in progressive positions
  • Experience in contract management and/or working with Physicians is an asset
Education
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Human resource management or project management
Licenses
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
