Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Planning and Employment, the Specialist provides advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert within the Human Resources Department in the design, delivery, and implementation of human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues. The Specialist provides human resources expertise, leadership, consultation and decision making to all levels of the organization as well as external partners including 3S Health, Ministry of Health, SAHO, educational institutions and other Health Regions. The Specialist provides solutions for regional issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights and provincial labour law, human resource indicator analysis and benchmarking, and regional multi-year HR planning aligned with SHA's (Saskatoon) strategic plan.

Experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Human Resources certificate
- Human Resources diploma
- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
