Job Description: The Strategy & Innovation Specialist is a key function within the Strategy & Innovation portfolio that works within five key areas: lead planning, partner, measure performance, innovate and spread, and guide transformation change initiative. As a large and complex organization, the Saskatchewan Health Authority requires alignment, leadership and support across these key areas.The Strategy and Innovation Specialist is an experienced professional with a broad-based background in health planning and organizational change. They use systems theory to help teams understand and assess current state, envision future state, identify gaps, and create actionable plans for improvement. They are committed to understanding and learning from stakeholder (including patients, families, and staff) experiences to inform organizational planning on an ongoing basis.They will collaborate and coordinate work with colleagues in the broader Quality, Safety and Strategy portfolio. Strategy and Innovation Specialists are generalists who have demonstrated their drive for continuous learning and application of new knowledge and skills.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience
- Five (5) years experience in a related area
- Leader who has developed planning and programs in multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience developing and leading planning and programs in complex environment
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a healthcare or management related discipline
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
