Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Quality & Safety , the Staff Safety Specialist provides consultation, development, & implementation of a variety of resource options for safety and injury prevention which are in alignment with the organization strategic plan, goals, and values. This position ensures workplace incidents are fully investigated, that the data is analyzed, trends identified and corrective actions are appropriate and completed by managers and supervisors.
In addition, this position provides ongoing consultation with SHA departments utilizing department safety plan frameworks guided by the SHA Management System in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health (SASWH) Safety Management System.

Experience
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position
Education
- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor of Administration is acceptable
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Business Administration diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Health Care Administration is acceptable
