Job Description: The Clinical Information Systems Consultant provides support and management for electronic medical records (EMR) implementations and ongoing use within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This position is responsible for providing leadership in respect to program implementation and ensuring the EMR supports regional clinical and financial business processes for which it was designed. This position is responsible for the effective operation of the EMR, including quality assurance, auditing, application security and data integrity in relation to privacy and adherence of users to identified policy and procedures. The Clinical Information Systems Consultant works with outside vendors, eHealth, and the SHA Information Systems and departments in the installation of new EMR sites and changes or upgrades to existing systems.

- Degree in Health Information Management
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Computer Science is acceptable
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor of Business Administration is acceptable
