Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Services and under the supervision of the Supervisor-Pulmonary Function Lab, the incumbent provides pulmonary function testing in accordance with established policies and procedures as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A graduate of an education program approved by the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists (SCRT) at a Respiratory Therapy school accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Respiratory Therapy Education in Canada, or a program deemed equivalent by the SCRT. Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapist registration examination administered by the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care, or an examination deemed equivalent by the SCRT. A registered member in good standing with the SCRT in accordance with the SCRT regulatory by-laws. Certification in BCLS.

• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently under pressure or in emergency situations.
• Demonstrated ability to accept and implement change.
• Demonstrated judgement skills, capable of taking initiative and flexible attitude.
• Demonstrated knowledge, experience and/or training in all aspects of the position duties.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
