Job Description

UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE COMMUNITY CARE MANAGER, THE HOME CARE NURSE PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL NURSING CARE TO MEET THE PHYSICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, REHABILITATIVE, AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF THE CLIENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH POLICY. THE HOME CARE NURSE IS IN CHARGE OF NURSING ASSESSMENT AND DELIVERY FOR CLIENTS.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Community Description

Prince Albert is the 3rd largest city in Saskatchewan with a population of 39,737. Located in the broad valley of the North Saskatchewan River, near the geographical center of the province where the agricultural prairie of the south and the rich forest belt of the north meet. Highways 2, 11, 55, 302 and 3 all connect in Prince Albert. Within an hour’s drive, you will enjoy lakes, golf courses, ski trails, great fishing, hunting and other recreational opportunities. There is a vibrant arts community in Prince Albert and an Arts Centre that attracts numerous local and national events.
