Status:  Relief - no guaranteed hours         Qualifications:  Grade 12

Description:  Responsible to the Administrator and working directly with Recreation Staff, the Recreation Worker:

• Delivers, monitors, and records in resident/client records on recreational activities, events, and programs
• Facilitates activities; encourages and assists with resident interaction
• Encourages/assists with meal and hydration
• Assist with resident/client mobility programs
• Contacts and involves family members and community group in activities and events
• Cooperates with other departments and follows therapy guidelines, established standards, regulations and facility policies.
