Job Description: As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, the Psychologist - Masters - Senior will provide direct clinical assessments and psychological services to youth (12-18 years) and adults in the in-patient substance use disorder treatment programs. The Psychologist Masters Senior will collaborate with members of the team to develop programs, provide consultation within and outside the program. This includes providing psychological assessment and reports and providing individual and group counselling along with interventions. The Psychologist Masters Senior will provide clinical supervision to other Psychologists within MHAS and provide consultation and collaboration with other disciplines within the team and within the community. The position requires sound judgement, and the incumbent must be able to work with minimal supervision and effectively with the Manager and other team members and relative community stakeholders. The incumbent will provide input into program planning and evaluation.

Education

A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology

Experience

2 years as a Registered Psychologist with Authorize Practice Endorsement (APE)
