Job Description: Reporting to the Manager - Professional Practice, Physical Therapy the Provincial Clinical Standards Educator provides coordination, facilitation, leadership, planning and resource development of multidisciplinary clinical orientation, education, and standard development at the provincial level. As a self-directed practitioner with strong communication skills, the Provincial Clinical Standards educator supports the Clinical Standards & Professional Practice priorities for safe and appropriate clinical practice in the SHA through alignment, collaboration, and partnership.

Experience

  • Experience in project management: leading, planning, implementation & evaluation
  • Minimum 3 years recent experience in a clinical nurse educator role
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience in nursing

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Experience in a clinical leadership role preferred
  • Willing to complete additional training as required
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
