Job Description: Under the direction of the Coordinator of Physiotherapy, the Staff Physical Therapist, as part of an interdisciplinary team, and using a developmental and family focused approach, assesses and treats by physical therapy means, those children assigned to his/her caseload. Families and caregivers are an integral part of this process and education of both families, other caregivers and children (when appropriate) in the carry-over of the physical therapy treatment is essential. The Staff Physical Therapist also participates in directing, supervising and evaluation of physiotherapy students rotating for clinical practice to this program. May be required in the course of management of children on the caseload to travel to communities throughout Saskatchewan and may be required to stay overnight. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Physical Therapist (PT)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) certification is an asset
