Job Description

Reporting to a Manager/Coordinator, the Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of therapy services within the framework of the interdisciplinary neuro rehab team. Caseload consists of neurologically involved clients referred from community, acute care and inpatient rehab.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement is a baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from a program which is recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Must be licensed by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Experience
Extensive experience in treating clients who have a neurologically based functional disability is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Advanced training in movement analysis and handling skills pertaining to neurologically involved patients is an asset.
  • Knowledge of acute care treatment, neuro rehab, and community based health systems is of value.
