Job Description: Sterilizes instruments and equipment. Cleans and sets up Operating/Procedure Rooms. Porters/positions patients, equipment and transports specimens.

Experience

• Six (6) months experience in health care

Education

• Medical Device Reprocessing Technician - Certificate of Achievement

Competencies

• Basic - Computer skills
• Organizational skills
• Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge in medical supplies and surgical instruments/equipment
• Heavy lifting and often extreme physical exertion will be required

Other Information

• Must be available  Wednesday - Saturday.  Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, statutory or designated holidays.
