Job Description: The Occupational Therapist-Degree reports directly to the Stroke Services Manager as well as the Director of Therapies and receives clinical guidance from the Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior. He/she is accountable for the provision of occupational therapy services to the target population of adults who have experienced a neurological event. The Occupational Therapist-Degree is accountable for assisting in planning and organizing the activities of the designated service area within the Occupational Therapy Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients revered receive a high standard of occupational therapy. This will be done in accordance with the Sunrise Health Region mission statement and the Physical and Occupation Therapy Department statement of purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
