Job Description: As a member of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Community Mental Health Nurse is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and group context. Responsibilities include intensive case management, medication management, crisis intervention, counselling, goal planning, consultation to community agencies, group/community education, student mentoring, documentation, client/family and public education, advocacy, and mental health promotion.

• Nipawin is located approximately 93 km northeast of Melfort

• Ability to accurately assess mental health and mental health related issues and  make appropriate recovery plans and referrals. Individual, group and crisis management/stabilization counselling skills.  Ability to promote healthy lifestyles in urban or rural settings and with diverse   populations.
